Something on a website we host is wrong. Tell us. If a site published through relivo is phishing, spreading malware, infringing a copyright you hold, or otherwise breaking our rules, this is the right place.

Every report gets a reply from a person.

Child safety under 24 hours
Active phishing or malware under 24 hours
Copyright under 48 hours
Everything else under 48 hours

We act on this

  • Phishing and credential harvesting
  • Malware and malicious code
  • Content that sexualises or endangers minors
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Doxxing and targeted harassment
  • Fraud, fake shops and scams
  • Direct threats of violence
  • Terrorist and violent extremist content
  • Copyright and trademark infringement

We will not act on this

  • Content you simply disagree with
  • Business or contract disputes
  • Search ranking and SEO complaints
  • Copyright claims with nobody named behind them
  • Someone being rude to you online
  • Reports without a working address

File a report

One report per address, please — if several pages on the same website are involved, put the main one in the form and list the rest in the description. Your contact details go to the people handling reports, and are not passed to the website owner unless the law requires it.

Copyright claims need more

relivo is operated from Switzerland, so there is no US-style takedown form to fill in here — a copyright claim reaches us through the same report above. What does not change is that we cannot act on an anonymous one: we have to be able to weigh a real claim against a real website owner. Pick the copyright category and include all of this in the description, or we will have to come back and ask:

  • The work

What is being infringed, and where it is legitimately published.

  • The infringing page

The exact address, so we can find it and keep a record of it.

  • Your contact details

Name, postal address and email, as the rights holder or their agent.

  • Your standing

That you hold the right, or are authorised to act for whoever does.

  • A statement in good faith

That the use you are complaining about is not authorised by you or by law.

  • Confirmation it is accurate

That what you have told us is true to the best of your knowledge.

The website owner is told what was claimed and can dispute it. If they do and the claim turns out not to hold, the content goes back up. We are a host, not a court: where two parties genuinely disagree about who holds a right, that is settled between them, and we act on what a court decides. Repeat infringement ends the account.

After you submit

Every report moves through the same four stages. Most reach a decision inside 48 hours; contested copyright claims take longer because both sides get to speak.

  1. 1

    Received

Your report lands in the queue with a reference number, sent to you and quotable in any follow-up.

  2. 2

    Triaged

A person reads it and sets the severity. Child safety and active phishing skip the queue entirely.

  3. 3

    Investigated

We open the page, keep evidence of what was there, and where it is warranted ask the account holder to respond.

  4. 4

    Decided

Outcomes run from no violation, through a warning or removal of the content, to suspending or ending the account.

Prefer email? abuse@relivo.ch reaches the same queue, though the form makes sure nothing needed is missing. Our terms set out what is not allowed.
